[2025/11/27, 10:30:36] James: .
[2025/11/27, 10:30:38] James: So…
[2025/11/27, 10:31:56] James: I believe that the world is a mirror, and the only real things in it are the people. We only use 0.0005% of our sense data to generate reality, and there are 7 dimensions we can’t even perceive with scientific instruments.
I believe that the people are the only important thing in the world, and they all generate their own perceived realities, based on the data / opinions we program them with.
[2025/11/27, 10:32:03] James: So you continue being with your children
[2025/11/27, 10:32:25] James: And you let them be, and let them thrive, and let them grow into unique individuals
[2025/11/27, 10:32:56] James: I think the whole reason why I broke was because I was told too much ‘this is the way of the world’ or ‘this is real and that is not’ or ‘you have to fight’ and ‘you have to be good’.
[2025/11/27, 10:33:08] James: These are all words which mean different things to different people.
[2025/11/27, 10:33:44] James: Children don’t know their left hand from their right until you force them to ‘know’. They don’t know what a ‘hand’ is until you tell them it’s a hand. This is why the world is magical for them.
[2025/11/27, 10:34:31] James: And I believe it can be magical for adults too, if people just stop pushing their opinions onto each other and trying to hold onto a reality which has already died.
It’s a flowing river. Movement. Constant. Trying to hold on or dictate that movement is what causes suffering.
[2025/11/27, 10:35:35] James: I call it an algorithm. Some call it fate. Words are irrelevant.
But nowadays we have people calling you delusional and insane and stuff just for having a different opinion to ‘the majority’.
I think it is the majority who are insane, with their obsession with time and money and ownership.
I think the children are the only sane ones out there.
[2025/11/27, 10:37:45] James: Children don’t even know that they are a separate creature to the world until they are told they are.
They are not. They are the entire world, generating their perceived realities in their mind moment to moment.
Fucking money and time and measurements and words all these arbitrary frameworks take that away from them if they are too ingrained.
All these things are merely tools to facilitate communication between: your universe <> my universe.
[2025/11/27, 10:38:13] James: Our universes are very different. And words might not work. But music might. Or art. Or construction. Or dance. Or silly faces.
[2025/11/27, 10:39:22] James: And this is what I think EMPATHY is.
Intentional ALLCAPS to differentiate from the current ‘old version’ which is a construct and just the ‘average of all the universes’.
So for people to really empathise, I think they have to find the things that connect these universes naturally.
[2025/11/27, 10:39:30] James: For you and me it is probably silly faces
[2025/11/27, 10:40:23] James: And this is what I had to remember. This is why I had to tear my brain down. Because I spent so long trying to please everybody that I reached the point where I could please nobody.
[2025/11/27, 10:40:33] James: Anyway lecture over.
How’s my favourite sister?
[2025/11/27, 11:41:45] James: .
[2025/11/27, 11:41:52] James: Got a bit weird there
[2025/11/27, 11:41:59] James: I think this is like the bible…
[2025/11/27, 11:42:05] James: You know you had Jesus; yeah?
[2025/11/27, 11:42:09] James: And then his disciples?
[2025/11/27, 11:42:23] James: The pages by the disciples are numbered very much like dates and times.
[2025/11/27, 11:43:33] James: Like this: it feels like they were trying to record what was happening to them in a way which could be traced back. Almost like they took turns to go through the same process as me, and document what happened.
But I might be overthinking things.
[2025/11/27, 11:44:45] James: Anyway I think it is like a hard reset for the mind. So when it happens, everything develops a new meaning around the ideas in your mind and the things people tell you.
[2025/11/27, 11:44:53] James: The most important thing though is what you tell yourself.
[2025/11/27, 11:46:23] James: I think this is how adults get back their ‘imaginary world’. And who is to say the individual imaginary world is any less valid than the communal one?
There are two worlds: the world of ‘every’ and the world of ‘one’.
We can change our own worlds vastly; but the impact in the world of others is incremental.
And when you change your own world vastly, like I have, people call you insane for temporarily decoupling from their interpretation.
[2025/11/27, 11:47:17] James: But a hand is just a shape and a feeling, until someone calls it a hand, and then spends years telling you which one is left hand and right hand.
That doesn’t make them ‘correct’.
[2025/11/27, 11:47:40] James: I think this whole thing is a process of regaining the magic of childhood and mystery in a world which tries to drag you into money and timekeeping.
